Gordon W. Moll, age 102, of Plymouth, passed away on
Sunday (May 6, 2018) in Scottsdale, Arizona.
He was born on February 19, 1916 in Milwaukee, WI, a son
of the late Albert John and Clara (Ruckweed) Moll.
Gordon graduated from Juneau High School in Milwaukee in
1934. He served in the United States Army in the Pacific Theater during World
War II.
On August 18, 1941, he married Gretta Meyres. The couple made
Milwaukee, Florida, and Random
Lake their home until moving to Plymouth.
His wife preceded him in death on April 15, 2011.
Gordon worked for the Milwaukee Police Department from
1942 until his retirement in 1970.
Survivors include one son: Albert John Moll II ( His wife: Evelyn) of Scottsdale, AZ;
Grandchildren: Albert Moll III and Christopher Moll both of Scottsdale, AZ,
Remington (Valerie) Moll of Lansing, MI and two great-granddaughters: Novi and
Selah Moll of Lansing, MI.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Gretta and his
parents.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday (May 12, 2018)
at 12:00 Noon at the Suchon Funeral Home
in Plymouth. Lay Minister Dale Miller of Salem Plankroad
United Church of Christ will officiate. Interment will take place at Pinelawn
Memorial Park in Milwaukee.
Visitation will be held at the Suchon Funeral Home on
Saturday (May 12) from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established
for Salem United Church of Christ in Plymouth.
