Ronald L. “Ron”
Jakum, age 81, of Plymouth, passed away Monday (May 14, 2018) at the Waterford
at Plymouth where he was a resident for the past year.
He was born on
April 27, 1937 in Sheboygan, WI, a son of the late Louise and Mary (Schaefer)
Jakum.
He attended High
School in Sheboygan. Ron served in the United States Navy.
On January 16,
1960 he married Marjorie Kisolek.
Ron owned and
operated Jakum’s Auto Body in Sheboygan for over 30 years.
He enjoyed
golfing, riding motorcycles, exercising and spending time with family.
Survivors include
his three children: William (Kim) Jakum of Elkhart Lake, Laura (Gerald)
Sonnenburg of Cascade, Lisa (Phil) Sagal of Sheboygan; Three grandchildren;
Four great-grandchildren; and One brother-in-law: Richard Colbath.
He is also
survived by a nephew, other relatives and friends.
Ron is preceded in
death by his parents and one sister, Joyce Colbath.
Following Ron’s
wishes, cremation has taken place and private graveside services will take
place at Calvary Cemetery in Sheboygan.
