Sharon
L. Hinze, age 75, of Plymouth, passed away early Thursday morning (May 24, 2018)
at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls where she had
been a resident for the past seven days.
Sharon was September 14,
1942 in Sheboygan, WI a daughter of the late Walter and Mildred (Witte)
Hermann.
She attended area schools
and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1961. On September 19, 1964 she
married Dale Hinze at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth.
She worked at Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company
– Cheese division in Plymouth from 1968 until 1982 and at Great Lakes Cheese
Company of WI from 1983 until retiring in 2002.
Her husband preceded her in death on July 13, 2015.
Sharon was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in
Plymouth and did volunteer work at the Church.
Sharon enjoyed baseball, especially the Milwaukee
Brewers, and going to spring training in Arizona. She bowled in the Wednesday
Night ladies’ league at Casey Jones Lanes in Plymouth, volunteered at the
Plymouth Food Pantry and belonged to Monday afternoon Prayer group and a member
of Generations.
She is survived by One
son: Gary Hinze of Watertown, WI (Girlfriend: Amy Mercer) and One
sister-in-law: Lois (Wayne) Schuldt of
Plymouth, Nieces and Nephew: Susan (John) Berenz, Dale (Jeannette) Lindner,
Sarah (Kyle) Mauk, Nancy (Mark) Robison and Joyce (Steve) Osieczanek.
She is also survived by
other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death
by her husband: Dale; brother-in-law: Herbert Lindner, nephew: Mark Lindner and
sister-in-law: Ruth Hinze.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday evening
(May 29, 2018) at 6:00 P.M. at Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Pastor Dale
Miller, pastor of Salem Plank Road United Church will officiate. Cremation will
take place following Services and Inurnment will be in Plymouth Woodlawn
Cemetery.
Friends may call at Suchon Funeral Home on Tuesday
(May 29) from 3:30 P.M. until time of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being
established in Sharon’s name for Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in
Sheboygan Falls.
