Marvin Karle, age 86, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully
on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at his home.
Marvin was born in Sheboygan on June 20, 1931 to the late
Michael and Elizabeth (nee Leonhardt) Karle. He attended local schools and
graduated from Central High School in 1950. He proudly served his country in
the US Marine Corps. He was united in marriage to Donna Weiss on July 25, 1953
at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. He was a lifelong member of Trinity
Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. Marvin was employed at Polar Ware and retired
after 43 years.
Marvin enjoyed golfing, going to the casino, fishing and
bowling. A proud moment for Marvin was rolling a perfect “300 game”. Family
meant so much to him. He especially enjoyed time spent together up north making
memories. He also enjoyed spending time with his many friends. He was a humble
man, an all around good guy, with a great sense of humor. He will be missed
dearly by all who knew him.
Marvin is survived by his loving wife, Donna; a son Michael
(Lynn) Karle; two daughters, Teresa (Bradley) Niemuth and Christine Hess; six
grandchildren, Lauren (Luis Ramirez) Karle, Sara (Chris) Wegener, Adam (Ashley)
Niemuth, Derek (Fiancé Anna) Niemuth, Kimberly (Brandon) Rakow and Mitchell
(Crystal) Hess; five great grandchildren; a brother Richard (Carol) Karle; a
sister Delores Karle; a brother-in-law Vern Zastrow. He is further survived by
nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Irma Zastrow and
Edna Schmidt and a brother-in-law Harvey Schmidt.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in
Marvin’s name.
The family would like to personally thank the entire staff
at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for all your support and compassion
shown to Marvin and his family. They would also like to thank Dr. James Pawlak
for all of the wonderful care throughout the years.
A funeral service for Marvin will be held at 6 PM on
Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center,
1201 N. 8

St., Sheboygan, with Rev. John Berg officiating. The
family will greet visitors on Thursday, at the funeral home, from 4 PM until
the time of service at 6 PM. Marvin will be laid to rest in Sunrise Memorial
Gardens.
