Patricia “Pat” E. Bourret, age 89, went to be with her Lord
on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Woodland Manor in Sheboygan Falls.
Pat was born in Sheboygan on October 17, 1928 to the late
John and Helen (Kaiser) Muehlbauer. She attended local schools and graduated
from Sheboygan North High School in 1947.
Pat was united in marriage to Donald Bourret on May 22,
1948. He preceded her in death on November 20, 2017. Pat was employed at
Gottsacker Insurance Agency as an insurance agent, where she also retired from.
Pat was a member of The Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. She enjoyed gardening,
playing cards, shopping and cooking. Pat will always be remembered for her love
of anything chocolate.
Pat was beautiful in face and form and lovelier still is
spirit. There will never be a day that goes by that Pat’s smile and laugh, her
love and her courage will be far from her family’s thoughts.
Pat is survived by her two daughters, Vickie Smith of
Bloomington, IL and Jackie (Kevin Mackey) Bourret of Naperville, IL; a grandson
Patrick (Laura) Smith of Washington DC; brother John (Carol) Muehlbauer; brothers-in-law
Arch Bourret and Jim Erdmann; sister-in-law Beatie Bourret. Nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends further survive.
Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by a
son-in-law Greg Smith on March 5, 2018.
A Memorial Service for Pat will be held at 12:00 PM on
Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care
Center, 1201 N 8
th
St. in Sheboygan, with Rev. DuWayne Hanke officiating.
The family will accept visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00
until the time of service at 12:00 PM. Inurnment will take place at Greenlawn
Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be sent in
Pat’s name to The Alzheimer’s Association
or to Making Spirits Bright.
