Germaine
“Judy” Menzer, 85, of Sheboygan passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018
at Sharon Richardson Community Hospice.
Born April 23, 1933 in Green Bay, WI. Judy was a daughter of the late Leo and Mary
Nienhaus. On October 30, 1954, she was
united in marriage to Waldemar Menzer at Trinity Lutheran Church in
Sheboygan. Waldemar preceded her in
death on January 24, 2015.
They made their home in Sheboygan where
Judy was a loving homemaker and wife while raising their four sons. Judy was an avid book reader, often passing
books to others. She enjoyed listening
to Christian and country music. Judy was well loved by the many relatives and
friends that visited her and Wally. She
looked forward to the annual family reunions.
In their retirement Wally and Judy enjoyed many trips traveling to visit
family. Judy very much appreciated
sharing past memories when her sister Delores Lemke came to visit.
She is survived by her children, Michael
Menzer and his children, Aaron (Laura) and Tyler (Emma); Mark Menzer and his
children, Joel and Megan; Paul and April Menzer and their children, Jordan and
Cody Menzer, all of Marietta, GA; daughter-in-law Tanya Menzer, Russellville,
KY and her daughter Jennifer Menzer, Republic, MO; her brother, Earl (Cindy)
Greenleaf, WI; sisters, Delores Lemke, Pulaski WI, Irene Titel, Monson MA; and
sister-in-law, Wilma Spindler, Bloomington, MN; nieces, nephews, other
relatives and many friends.
Besides her parents Leo and Mary, she was
preceded in death by her husband, Waldemar; son, Scott Menzer (Tanya);
daughter-in-law, Amy Menzer (Michael); her brothers, Clarence Nienhaus, Donald
Nienhaus and William Nienhaus.
Funeral services for Judy will take place
at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation
Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. The Rev. Berg will officiate. Family and friends
are welcome at the funeral home on Monday from 2:30 p.m. until the time of
service.
The family would like to thank the nurses
and staff of Sharon Richardson Community Hospice for all of their loving care
and support.
A memorial fund has been established in
her name.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation
