Roland “Rollie” H. Launer, 85, of Sheboygan, passed away on
Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. He was born August 23, 1932 in Sheboygan to
Arthur and Emily (Zibell) Launer. Rollie
was a graduate of North High School.
Rollie proudly served in the US Army from 1953 to 1955, he
was stationed in Germany.
On February 13, 1954 he was united in marriage to Yvonne
Zastrow. Rollie had a strong faith and
was a former member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and a current member of
Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. He
worked with Grasse Brothers Tire for 29 years and then went to work as an
insurance agent with Prudential Insurance Company until his retirement in 1990.
Rollie is survived by his wife of 64 years Yvonne, children;
Kathleen Launer of Sheboygan, Karen (Michael) Mauritz of Neenah, Patricia
(Michael) Habermann of Lexington, KY, Robert (Peggy) Launer of Oostburg, and
Daniel (Jeni) Launer of De Pere, seven grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren. He is further survived
by a sister-n-law Ruth Knabe, nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends. He was preceded in death by his
parents, a brother Clarence and a sister Hildegarde.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Sunday,
August 19, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral &
Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8

St. Sheboygan. A Private family service will be held on
Monday, August 20, 2018 followed by inurnment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran
Church or Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Rollie’s name.
The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the
