Vicenta Medina, 64, of Sheboygan,
passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018, at the Sheboygan Senior Center
surrounded by her family.
Vicenta was born on July 19,
1954, in Brownsville, TX to Eustacio and Isabel (Garcia) Medina Sr. After her
mother passed away, her father married Maria Luisa Padron, who became her
second mother. Vicenta was a packer for the Norton Company in Brownsville, TX
for over 30 years.
Vicenta is survived by her three
daughters, Sandra (Anthony) Tellez of Rosenberg, TX, and Patricia Muniz of Dallas, TX; five
grandchildren, Aries Tellez, Avier Tellez, Marquis Muniz, Trinity Jackson, and
Devin Jackson; father and mother, Eustacio and Maria Medina; sisters and
brothers, Marcelo (Jacinta Madrigal) Osejo, Gloria (Santiago) Fuentes, Ricardo
(Teresa) Medina, Patricia Medina, Virginia ( Adrian Castellanos) Medina, Maria
(Scott) Brusse, Veronica (Michael Schwarten) Medina, and Jose Luis (Chrissy
Mikulice) Medina; one sister-in-law, Melva Medina; two godchildren, Justinn
Medina and Mariela Medina. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends.
Vicenta was preceded in death by
her mother, Isabel Garcia and one brother, Eustacio Medina Jr.
A funeral service to celebrate
Vicenta's life will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at 2pm at the Wenig
Funeral Home in Oostburg with Rev. John Putnam officiating. A burial will take
place at Greendale Cemetery in Sheboygan.
Relatives and friends may greet
the family at Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Monday, August 20, 2018, from
4pm until 7pm and again on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at the funeral home from
12pm until the time of service at 2pm.
A memorial fund is being
established in her name.
