Frederick F. Tasche, Sr., 84, of Sheboygan,
passed away Monday morning, August 27, 2018 at his home.
Born August 18, 1934 in Sheboygan,
Frederick was a son of the late August and Elsie Krepske Tasche. He attended
Sheboygan areas schools and graduated from Central High School in 1953. On
March 23, 1957, he was united in marriage to Carlene J. Charles at Our Savior’s
Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. They were married for 51 years before Carlene preceded

Fred was a City of Sheboygan police
officer for 30 years before his retirement in June of 1990. He previously
worked for the H.C. Prange Company and Lindow's Vault Company.
He was an avid sports fan who loved the
Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs. He was a true carpenter at heart and
helped to build the family cabin up north on Glen Lake with his father-in-law,

hunting with his sons, celebrating the Fourth of July “big red day”
for over 30 years, listening to Big Band music or just playing games with his
family and friends. He also enjoyed the time he and Carlene spent at their home
in Florida during the winters. He loved to stay busy and was always active and
working on something.
He is survived by his children, Timothy
(Sherry) Tasche, Michael (Donna) Tasche, Steven (Joanne) Tasche, Frederick
(Dawn) Tasche, Jr., Lisa Krause, all of Sheboygan, and Julie (Thad) Gabrielse,
Oostburg; twelve grandchildren; eight
