MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Brewers claimed the rubber match in their series against the Astros after shutting out Houston 4-0 in Milwaukee on Wednesday afternoon.
Adrian Houser was credited with the win after tossing five and a third scoreless innings.
The Brew Crew combined for three home runs as a team. Willy Adames, Owen Miller and Brian Anderson each went deep in the win.
Brandon Bielak was charged with the loss for the Astros after allowing four runs over six and two-thirds innings. Houston combined for just four hits and is now second in the AL West at 28-21.
Milwaukee leads the NL Central at 27-22.
