Lyle R. “Artie” Ardell, age 64, of the Town of Greenbush,
passed away Thursday (September 13, 2018) at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.
He was born on April 27, 1954 in Plymouth, WI, a son of
the late Edward Sr. and Alma (Schueller) Ardell.
Artie attended Plymouth High School.
On October 4, 2003 he married Wanda Schroeder at the
Chapel at Lakeland College.
He worked for Sheboygan County Highway Department for 32
years. After retirement he enjoyed driving truck for Kenjay Fiedler Excavating.
He was a member of the Plymouth Snow Rangers.
Lyle enjoyed anything with a motor, watching NASCAR,
snowmobiling, tractor pulling, riding his Harley, and tinkering with small
engines.
He is survived by his wife: Wanda of Greenbush; Three
children: Korry Ardell (Elizabeth Demito) and their son: Nathan of Ada, Travis
(Nicole) Ardell and their son: Austin of Sheboygan, and Zacharie Schroeder
(Alexis Kuehl) of Greenbush; One sister: Sandy Jochmann of Plymouth; One
brother: Rick (Pam) Ardell of Redding, CA; and Mother-in-law: Val Schroeder
(Russ Payne) of Greenbush.
He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Brother-in-law:
Ronnie Jochmann; and Nephew: Steve Jochmann.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday (Sept. 21) at
6:30 P.M. at Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Denise Kwiatkowski, Pastor
of Trinity United Methodist Church in Waldo will officiate. Burial will take
place at Greenbush Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Suchon Funeral Home on Friday
(Sept. 21) from 3:30 P.M. until time of Services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established
in Lyle’s name.
