Caroline “Carrie” Grace Roggentin, 83, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Thursday, October
11, 2018, at her home.
Carrie was born April 3, 1935, in Elizabeth, NJ to Karl and Catrina (Ruffel) Knudsen. She was a
1953 graduate of Battin High School in Elizabeth, NJ. Carrie married Harvey Foch on September
25, 1954. He preceded her in death on November 12, 1986. On February 12, 1994, Carrie
married Roy Roggentin at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Adell.
Carrie was a member of Emmanuel in Adell, where she served on the Ladies Aid and Altar
Guild. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. Carrie enjoyed volunteering at Neat
Repeats, and attending bible class.
Carrie is survived by her husband, Roy; one daughter, Karen (Michael) Grust; one son, Roy
(Barbara) Foch; three step-daughters, Cheryl (Jack) Arends, Caryl (Rev. Paul) Spira, and Cynthia
(Frank) Laudolff; nine grandchildren, Tuesday (Brian) Loos, Christopher and Steven Grust,
Melissa (Cedric) Rembert, Jamison (Melinda) Arends, Elizabeth (Theodore) Hoham, Rev. Ethan
(Kim) Spira, Lee and Matthew Laudolff; and 10 1/2 great-grandchildren. She is further survived
by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Carrie was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Harvey Robert Foch; and one brother,
Roy (Frances) Knudsen.
A funeral service to celebrate Carrie's life will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018, at 4pm at
Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Adell with Rev. Christopher M. Seifferlein officiating. A burial
will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Red Bank, NJ.
Relatives and friends may greet the family at the church in Adell on Monday, October 15, 2018
from 2:30 pm until the time of service at 4pm.
