James “Jim” Robert Faller, 79, of Plymouth, WI, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018. Jim was
born July 27, 1939 in Hubbell, MI to Dorothy (Hoffman) Faller and Robert A. Faller. He is survived by his
loving wife of 57 years, Cynthia Anne (Rechlicz) Faller.
Jim earned a degree in Computer Science from MATC, Milwaukee, and further studied at Fairleigh
Dickinson University, Madison, NJ. Jim spent most of his career in computer programming and
information systems management, working for several large Fortune 500 companies.
He served in the US Army, stationed in Fort Leonard Wood, MO.
Jim was a proud member of Council 1789 Knights of Columbus in Plymouth and Fourth Degree Assembly
1204 in Sheboygan and currently served as area coordinator for the Knights of Columbus. He was a past
Grand Knight of Council 313 in Bethlehem, PA, and past Faithful Navigator of Assembly 1204 in
Sheboygan. Jim was also a member of American Legion 243 in Plymouth and served in its Honor Guard.
He was an Alderman for District 3 in Plymouth and member of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church.
Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, and playing games with his grandchildren. Jim will be
remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and he will be greatly missed.
He is also survived by five children: Brian (Lynn) Faller of Mountaintop, PA; Natalie Clark of Hoffman
Estates, IL; Valerie (Brad) Griswold of Lancaster, NH; Randy (Maureen) Faller of Random Lake, WI;
Jennifer (Matt) Walton of Kohler, WI; grandchildren: Maggie and Kristen Faller; Frances and Hunter
Griswold; Lauren and Leanna Faller, Sophie and Ian Clark; and Evelyn, Jillian, and Benjamin Walton. Jim
is also survived by his sister, Mary Zurcher-Ross (Don Ross) of Iron River, MI; Sister-in-law, Kathy (Bill)
Hartwick of Burlington, WI; his Aunt Mary Eaton of South Milwaukee, WI; many nieces, nephews,
cousins, and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by two grandsons, Jimmy and Bobby Faller; his parents, Robert A. Faller, and
Dorothy (Hoffman) Faller; his sister, Joan Maierle of Calumet, MI; brothers-in law, Pete Maierle and
David Zurcher; father and mother-in-law: Raymond and Sophie Rechlicz of Milwaukee, WI.
Visitation will take place Friday, October 19, 2018 from 4pm – 7pm and Saturday, October 20th from
10am – 11am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 115 Plymouth St., Plymouth, WI. Funeral mass will
commence at CHURCH on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at 11:00 AM. Father Philip Reifenberg, Pastor of
the Church will officiate. Military rites will be accorded by Ladewig-Zinkgraf American Legion Post 243.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Angel Fund, 115 Plymouth St.,
Plymouth, WI 53073.
