Adrian G. Dunt, age 95, of Plymouth, passed away on October 14, 2018, at Sharon S. Richardson
Community Hospice Facility in Sheboygan Falls.
He was born on July 7, 1923 in Cresco, IA, son of the late James and Margaret (Huber) Dunt. He grew up
on the family farm and attended public schools in Howard County Iowa.
Adrian served in the United States Army during World War II and served as a paratrooper with the 11 th
Airborne Division, stationed in Sendi, Japan. He was also a qualified gliderman and served as a crew
member on a glider plane.
Following his military service, he worked as a forman, constructing the Fort Randal Dam and steel
towers in South Dakota.
After leaving the South Dakota/Montana area, he moved to Random Lake, WI. There he met Marie
Deppiesse, and the couple was married on June 9, 1956. Marie preceded him in death on November 5,
1993.
Adrian worked at Krier Canning Company as a bean boss and forklift operator, and later at Siebenaler
Paint Company for 28 years, retiring in 1983.
Survivors include: Daughter: Barbara (Gregory) Graf of Sheboygan Falls; Granddaughter: Amy (Kevin)
Kempf of De Pere; Great-grandchildren: Maggie and Gabriel; Brother: Cornell (Leta) Dunt of Lost Nation,
IA; and Sister-in-law: Kathy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Adrian was preceded in death by: His wife; Parents; Brothers: Dennis (Sylvia), Linus (Jeannie), and
Conrad; Twin infant sisters: Florence and Florene; and Sisters-in-law: Catherine (James) Bemis and
Louise Deppiesse.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday (October 18, 2018) at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth.
Visitation will take place from 5:30 – 6:30 P.M. with a Prayer Service to follow at 6:30 P.M. Father
Wayne Bittner will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Adrian’s name.
