(WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers avoided getting swept against the Rays following a 6-4 victory from St. Petersburg on Sunday.
Freddy Peralta got the win after surrendering three runs on five hits over six innings. Willy Contreras, Willy Adames and Rowdy Tellez each blasted solo homers for Milwaukee.
The Brew Crew are still first in the NL Central at 25-21.
The Brewers open a three-game series at home against the Houston Astros Monday night. Corbin Burnes gets the start for Milwaukee while Houston counters with Cristian Javier.
