Rosemary J. Reiter, age 82, of Sheboygan, died on Monday, November 05, 2018 at
the Sheboygan Senior Community. She was born in Sheboygan on December 18,
1935, the daughter of the late Lyle and Alice Scanlan Clark.
She attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School.
On February 15, 1958 Rosemary was united in marriage to Alphonse Reiter at
Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Sheboygan. Rosemary was employed at
Polarware, American Chair and the Donahue Company.
She was a current member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church and the Sheboygan
Turners as a child. Rosemary enjoyed dancing with the D’werdenfelser
Schuhplattlers. She also loved playing bingo, gambling at Oneida, and spending
time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Alphonse, of Sheboygan; five children, Steven
(Susan) Reiter, Donna (Pat) Reiter, Debbie (Jeff) Reichardt, all of Sheboygan, Lisa
(David) Mullins, of Yorktown, Virginia, and John (Lisa) Reiter, of Sheboygan Falls;
eight grandchildren, Chris, Jenny, Nathan, Kyle, Derek, Amanda, Joseph and
Samantha; fourteen great-grandchildren, Dakota, Sierra, Zoey, Alannah, Aspen,
Averie, Alayna, Abram, Ava, Addison, Edison, Pierce, Amelia and Arlo; brothers
and sisters, Bob (Nancy) Clark, Kate Meyer, both of Sheboygan, Carol (Norb)
Pfingsten, of Howards Grove, Joan Clark, of Sheboygan, and Pat (Arthur) Ternes,
of Fredonia. Rosemary is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Mary Nytsch and her brother,
John Clark.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11:00
a.m. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1439 S. 12 th St., Sheboygan. Visitation for
family and friends will be on Thursday evening November 8, from 4:00 p.m. until
7:00 p.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12 th St., Sheboygan, and
at the church on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00
a.m. Entombment will take place at the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum in
Greenlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in her name. A special
thanks to Sheboygan Senior Community for their loving care, her special friend
Joan at the center, Doris at SIMA and to St. Nicholas Hospital Hospice. Online
