Marilyn Joyce Prinsen, 84, of Cedar Grove, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at St.
Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.
Marilyn was born on January 26, 1934, in Cedar Grove, to G. William and Jozina (Van Driest)
Prinsen. She was a 1951 graduate of Cedar Grove High School. Marilyn was employed at the
Cedar Grove Veterinary Clinic as a Veterinary Assistant for 65 years.
Marilyn was a member of the First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove, where she taught Sunday
School. Marilyn loved animals and enjoyed playing the piano and working in her flower garden,
then sharing her flowers with her church family every week.
Marilyn is survived by cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Wesley; sister, LaVerna and an infant
sister.
A funeral service to celebrate Marilyn's life will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at
6pm at the First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove with Rev. Chris Schaefer officiating. A burial
will take place at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may greet the family at First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove on
Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 3pm until the time of service at 6pm.
A memorial fund is being established in her name for First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove
Sunday School.
