Joy Diane Kranick, 70, of Plymouth, WI
Passed away peacefully early Saturday morning (Dec. 15, 2018) at the Sharon S. Richardson
Hospice Center in Sheboygan Falls.
She was born on July 18 th , 1948 in Plymouth, WI, a daughter of the late Gilbert and Althea (Zinkgraf)
Vanderhoof.
Joy attended St. John the Baptist Grade School in Plymouth and graduated from Elkhart Lake High
School in 1966.
On November 27, 1970 she married Allen Kranick and the couple has resided in Plymouth since
their marriage.
Joy worked at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility in her early years and also did Daycare before
owning and operating 3K’s Cookie Outlet and the Hub City/ Antique Mall which later became
known as the “Shoppes on Mill Street”. She also was a member of the Plymouth Historical
Society.
Survivors include: Her loving husband; Allen of Plymouth, One Sister; Beth (Ed) Rauwerdink of
Hingham, Two Brothers; Mark Vanderhoof of Elkhart Lake and Dean (Sherri) Vanderhoof of
Mt. Calvary, WI. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister-in-law; Myla “Mickey” Vanderhoof.
Following Joy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial service will be held on
Thursday, (December 27, 2018) at 6:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth.
Father Philip Reifenberg, Pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth will
officiate.
Visitation will be held on Thursday (Dec. 27) from 3:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home until
the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Joy’s name and can be given to the family
or the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice.
