Scott W. Lorenz, 65, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2023 after a 15-month battle with
cancer. Born on December 18, 1957 to the late Jack and Carol (Grunewald) in Sheboygan.
Scott retired from Windmill in 2006. He enjoyed fishing hunting, spending time with family and friends at
the family cabin in Phillips, Wisconsin. He was an avid reader, especially material on the Civil War.
Watching sports was a favorite pastime of his, some of his favorite teams were the Packers, Badgers,
Milwaukee Bucks and Brewers.
He is survived by his brother Tim Lorenz, sister Ann Lorenz, brother-in-law Mike Menzer all of
Sheboygan; nephews Aaron Menzer, of Racine and Tyler (Emma) Menzer of West Liberty, IA; his four-
legged companion, Tasa and other relatives and friends.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, sister Amy Menzer, four legged companions BJ, Bandit and
Maxina and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are appreciated in Scott’s honor to the Vince Lombardi Cancer
Clinic, Sheboygan.
A Funeral Service for Scott will take place at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Ballhorn Chapels
Funeral and Cremation Care Center, 1201 N 8th St. in Sheboygan. Family will greet visitors on
Wednesday at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic, especially Brenda and
Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, for their compassion, care and support. The family would
