DENVER, CO (WHBL) – The Colorado Rockies used a huge eighth inning to beat the Milwaukee Brewers 9-6 on Thursday afternoon, as the Rockies completed the three game sweep.
Harold Castro singled-home two runs while Charlie Blackmon drove in another pair as part of a five-run bottom of the eighth.
Christian Yelich, Tyrone Taylor and Rowdy Tellez each slugged homers for Milwaukee, which fell to 18-13. The Brewers have lost four straight and are second in the NL Central.
The Brew Crew starts a three-game series against the Giants in San Francisco Friday night. Corbin Burnes gets the start for the Brewers opposite Sean Manaea.
