Debra “Debbie” L. Klosterman, 64, of Sheboygan, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 surrounded by
her family at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. She was born February 28, 1955 in
Sheboygan to Theodore and Joyce (Lienau) Schwanke. Debbie graduated from North High School in
Sheboygan with the Class of 1973.
On August 28, 1976 she was united in marriage to her childhood sweetheart Jeff Klosterman at Trinity
Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. Debbie worked for the Kohler Company. She enjoyed crafting, flowers,
spending time with Jeff in their screen house playing games especially cribbage and sequence. Debbie
had a passion for traveling, camping, and most of all spending time and creating many lasting memories
with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Jeff, daughters Trisha (Barry) Valleskey and Marci (Mark) Post,
grandchildren; Brady and Maxwell Valleskey, and Haley and Owen Post, brothers, Tom (Barb) Schwanke
and Karl (Chris) Schwanke, sister, Penny (Paul) Piekarski, sisters-in-law, Sharon (Bill) Laib, and Peggy
Vervelde (fiancé Tom). She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was
preceded in death by her parents and in-laws, Walter and Eleaner Klosterman.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 824
Wisconsin Ave., Sheboygan, with Rev. Timothy Mech officiating. Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Monday, July 15, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the time of
service at the CHURCH.
