H. Gregg Otterson, age 74, of Cascade, WI, passed away Friday, November 15, 2019, at Sharon S.
Richardson Community Hospice Center.
He was born on September 17, 1945 in Joliet, IL, a son of the late Henry R. and Jewel (Clement)
Otterson.
Gregg attended Plymouth Grade Schools and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1963. After high
school he went on to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned his Bachelor degree in
Economics and Business.
He worked at Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in Chicago for several years.
Gregg was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Plymouth. He also was a member of WI Bow
hunters, Winooski Bowmen, and the UW Madison Alumni Association.
He enjoyed playing tennis, chess, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his brother-in-law: Val Plouff; Niece and Nephews: Christine Kurland, Steve (Christina)
Luecke, and John (Jennifer) Luecke; Great Niece and Nephews: Caden, Eva, and Henry Luecke.
He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Sherrell Plouff.
Following Gregg’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or public service.
Private family graveside services will be held at Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in his name.
