SEATTLE, WA (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers edged the Mariners 6-5 in eleven innings in Seattle on Tuesday night.
Willy Adames grounded into a fielder’s choice which scored the eventual game winning run in the 11th. Adames also slugged a homer and had a total of three RBI while Christian Yelich also went deep.
Milwaukee improved to 13-5 and is still first in the NL Central.
The Brewers will go for the series sweep Wednesday afternoon. Eric Lauer is scheduled to start for Milwaukee while Seattle counters with Marco Gonzales.
