With the most significant storm in recent years now exiting Sheboygan and most of Wisconsin, cleanup is the job-Du-jour. Anywhere between 9 and 12 inches of snow blanketed most of Sheboygan County between Tuesday night and noon on Thursday, and Department of Public Works crews in Sheboygan quickly transitioned from control to cleanup as it departed. And also in its wake, the Sheboygan Police Department began working with the DPW addressing those vehicles that were not complying with Snow Emergency rules by ticketing and towing vehicles. At the same time, they advised anyone who may be in violation – but not yet ticketed – that they can save an expensive ticket and the inconvenience of recovering their vehicle by moving it promptly.
