
Suzanne Marie Tenpas, age 80, Plymouth, WI, passed away on Sunday (February 5,
2023) at Cedar Grove Gardens.
She was born on September 11, 1942 in Plymouth, a daughter of the late Milford and Ida
(Becker) Hogue. She attended Plymouth Elementary schools and graduated from
Plymouth High School in 1961.
In 1965, Susie was united in marriage to David Konz. She worked at Borden’s in
Plymouth, and in the kitchen at both the Plymouth High School and the Plymouth
Hospital. In 1977, she married Don Tenpas.
She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Plymouth.
Susie loved going out to see bands, especially blues and country. She also loved to sit
outdoors and listen to wind chimes and the birds, but most of all; she loved to spend time
with her grandchildren.
Susie is survived by her three sons: Brian (Lori) Konz of Watertown, WI; Jason
(Melanie) Tenpas of Bristol, WI; Travis Tenpas of Plymouth, WI; Four grandchildren:
Dannielle and Briaunna Konz of Watertown, Scarlett and Vivien Tenpas of Bristol;
Brother: Mike (Dawn) Hogue of Arizona; Sister: Ginny Stevens of Sheboygan Falls;
Sisters-in-law: Carol Kortenhorn of Whitelaw, WI and Linda Hogue of Chicago; and
Brother-in-law: Bob Hall of Deerfield Beach, FL.
She is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: baby Timmy Hogue, Jerry Hogue, and Moe
Hogue; two sisters: Carol Hall and Cindy Fischer, niece: Amy Fischer; and brothers-in-
law: Bob Stevens and David Fischer.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday (February 15, 2023) at the Suchon Funeral Home
in Plymouth from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM; with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 PM.
Chaplain Marianne Brandt will officiate. Inurnment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in
Plymouth.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Suzanne’s name.
