
Richard Ulledahl, 77, of Sheboygan, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice following a lengthy illness.
Born March 29, 1945 in Minot, ND, Richard was a son of the late Ole and Minnie T. Haugen Ulledahl. He attended Minot High School. He went on to serve his country in the U. S. Army from 1967 to 1969. On June 25, 1976, he was united in marriage to Diane Lindow at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church.
Rich worked at J.L. French for 36 years before his retirement. He was an avid hunter who also enjoyed many handyman projects around the house. He especially loved working in his garage shop making outdoor garden art. He was also a skilled woodworker and welder. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his great grandson, Cedric.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Diane; his four grandchildren, Seth (Carina) Schmidt, Lucas Ulledahl, James Duplechain, and Sophie Sickich; one great grandson, Cedric Schmidt; his sister, Evelyn Buffington; his mother-in-law, Jeanne Lindow; his in-laws, Dan (Patty) Lindow, Cheri (Ole) Olson and Linda Sellars; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Ulledahl; and his brothers and sister, Lyle, Leonard and Morris Ulledahl and Clarice VanderBerg.
According to his wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation.
