Aaron W. “Bubba” Wigen, of the Town of Sheboygan, passed away Monday evening, December 12, 2022. He was 26 years old.
Aaron was born September 14, 1996, in Manitowoc, the son of Aaron and Dannette (Sparlin) Wigen. He graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 2015 where he had been involved in numerous sports teams and played drums in the band. For 9 years, he worked at Holidays Pub & Grill where he advanced to kitchen manager. Most recently, Aaron had been working at Kohler Company in Generator, and previously in Brass.
An avid basketball and NBA lover, Aaron was a huge Milwaukee Bucks fan. He loved animals, playing on his X-box and was a fun person to be around. He had a strong perseverance to push through life’s challenges. Most importantly Aaron cherished time with his friends, especially Michael, Trevor and Brett, his family, and above all, Emma and his son Leonardo.
Aaron is survived by his parents Aaron and Dannette of the Town of Sheboygan, his son who was his pride and joy, Leonardo Wigen, and the love of his life Emma Eberhardy. He is further survived by his sister Kaitlyn (Jack) Darling of Sheboygan and their children Alice and Luke Darling; grandmother Arlene Carter of TX; grandfather Wayne Carter of TX; aunts and uncles: Lisa (Art) LaChance of TX, Gina (Mitch) Blackwell of TX, Sheila (Bill) Worley of Greenville, WI, Kevin (Barbie) Wigen of FL; extended family Jason and Jessica Turicik of Plymouth and many cousins, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Jeff and Kathy Wigen, and Uncle Jacob Sparlin.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Wenig Funeral Home, 108 Center Avenue in Oostburg. Pastor John Putnam will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00AM-1:00PM.
He will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Kohler, following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested and will be put towards Leonardo’s future.
