Amelia Jean Orth, 64, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022. She was born
May 10, 1958 in Detroit, MI to John and Grace (Brock) Perry.
On March 28, 1993 she was united in marriage to Andy Orth until 2015.
Amelia lived in Union City , TN from 1995 until 1999 and ran a motorcycle shop with Andy.
Amelia had a strong faith, she believed in God and the Holy Spirit, and deeply loved her Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ. She was strong willed and a feisty warrior. Amelia was the rock of her
family, she loved her mom and her sisters. Amelia was always there for them, encouraging them
to push on through whatever they were facing at the time. Her boys were her pride and joy, her
passion was being a mom and taking care of her family and home. She cherished all the
memories she created with her grandchildren. Amelia was a talented photographer, loved
watching western movies, going to thrift shops, yard sales and traveling.
Amelia is survived by her mother Grace (Ralph) Foss, sons; Myron (Erica) Perry of Everglades
City, FL, Richard (Somer) Orth of Mequon, daughter-in-law Rachel Nytes of Sheboygan,
grandchildren; Kyle, Emilee, Iona Jean, and Alexyss Perry, Mason Dicker, Blaike and Kamron
Orth, Caden Halverson, and Matthew, Sophia, Amelia, and Levi Orth, great-grandson Richie
Delarosa, sisters; Susan (Dean) Garcia, Vernice Perry, and Mary Perry. She is further survived
by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, son
Matthew Orth, sisters; Phorona Perry and Theresa Perry, and step-brother Ralph “Shorty” Foss
Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 1:30pm at St. Clement
Catholic Church, 522 New York Ave., Sheboygan, with Fr. Mark Brandl officiating. Burial will
follow at St. Wendel Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday,
November 18, 2022 from 11:30am until the time of mass at the CHURCH.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Clement Catholic Church in Amelia’s name.
