DUBAI (Reuters) – Qatar has made a new pledge of $100 million in humanitarian assistance to Syria, the Gulf state’s Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.
Total Qatari assistance for the war-torn country has reached $2 billion, the ministry added in a Twitter post.
The new pledge was made at a United Nations’ virtual conference in Brussels where the organization is seeking nearly $10 billion in aid for Syria.
