
Elverda N. Seehaver, age 77, of Valders, passed away on October 7, 2022, at Sharon S.
Richardson Community Hospice surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on March 1, 1945, in Sheboygan, to the late Henry and Hanna (Roerdink)
Grapentine. She attended local schools and graduated from Central High School. Elverda
worked in hospitality at the American Club in Kohler. Above all, Elverda took great pride in
raising her four beautiful children. On October 17 th , Elverda and Gerald would have been
married for 57 wonderful years. Elverda was also a faithful member of Fountain Park United
Methodist Church in Sheboygan where she was baptized, confirmed, and married. She was
active in a variety of church activities including, quilting, bible studies and meal preparations for
the church’s potluck dinners.
Elverda enjoyed listening to country music, she was an avid doll collector, working in the
garden, and loved spending time with her family. She was a wonderful mother, a gentle soul,
and faithful to her Lord. Her advice and listening ear will be greatly missed.
She survived by her husband, Gerald; children, Dawn Seehaver, Diane Kaiser, Darrin Seehaver
and Duane Seehaver; granddaughter, Crystal Haling; three great-grandchildren, Elijah and Aiden
Haling and Adelita Hertel; sisters, Shirlyn Batt, Roseanne (Edward) Bloemers and Henri-Ellen
Hartman; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Along with her parents, Elverda was preceded in death by a grandson, TJ Kaiser, maternal and
paternal grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Following Elverda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
A memorial fund has been established in Elverda’s name.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at both Aurora Medical Center Manitowoc
County and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls for the excellent care
and support given to Elverda and her family.
