Kenneth “Kenny” Henry Grebe returned to his creator on Sunday, September 4, 2022. He was 80 years
old.
Kenny was born to Raymond and Helen (Miller) Grebe on August 6, 1942, in Greenbush, Wisconsin. He
was the youngest of three children. He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1960.
Kenny married Barbara Stenschke on February 29, 1964. They had three children together.
On June 2, 1979, Kenny married Eunice Ford at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. They had two
children together.
Kenny worked for 46 years at Borden’s/American Dairy Brands in Plymouth until his retirement in 2007.
He worked in the M & R Pavilion at the Sheboygan County Fair for many years. He also worked as a
bartender at many different Plymouth area bars throughout his life.
Kenny played semi-professional football for the Sheboygan Redwings for two years, most notably
playing a game on Soldier Field in Chicago. He was the head coach for the Raiders in the Plymouth Junior
Football League from the league’s beginning until it was disbanded after 45 years. His players, as well as
all of his children, knew his shoe size. Kenny coached his daughter’s softball teams and the Bil-Mar
softball team in Cascade.
Kenny was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth and sang in the church choir for many
years. He also sang in the Chorus of the Kettle Moraine/Hometown Harmony Tradition barbershop
chorus. Additionally, he sang bass in the barbershop quartet Tarnation! In his free time, Kenny enjoyed
everything the Wisconsin outdoors had to offer, especially hunting and fishing.
Kenny is survived by Eunice, his wife of 43 years. Children; Lisa (Richard) Dreyfuss of Roselle, IL, Kelly
(Curt) Lentz of Elkhart Lake, Carrie (Sean) Gahan of Cleveland, WI, Todd (Sarah) Grebe of Plymouth, and
Becky (Steve) Dorniak of New Berlin, WI. Grandchildren; Trent and Kailey Dreyfuss, Sean (Jessica) Lentz,
Shannon (Nolan) Yonkman, Aidan and Owen Gahan, Lily, Aria, and Elise Grebe, Eli and Ellison Dorniak.
Stepbrother; Dennis (Nancy) Raeder of Elkhart Lake. Stepsisters; Sharon Birthisel of Colorado and Nancy
Brown of California. Sisters-in-law; Jean Ford and Susan (John) Slattery. Brothers-in-law; David (Kendra)
Ford and Jeff Ford. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, his parents-in-law William and Ruth Ford, sisters Shirley
Selk and Betty Charles, and brothers-in-law Eddie Selk, Merlyn Charles, and Joe Conrad.
A visitation will be held at Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth on Sunday, September 11, from 10 AM-3
PM. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Andrew Thompson and Pastor John Schultz of St. John
Lutheran Church will be held at 3:00 at the funeral home. Burial will take place at the Greenbush
Cemetery on Monday, September 12.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in Kenny’s name.
