Dorothy Kohls

Dorothy Kohls, age 94, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 3, 2022. Dorothy
was born in Sheboygan to Thomas Mockert Sr. and Emma (Bertsch) Mockert.
In 1949 Carl Kohls and Dorothy Mockert were united in marriage at St. Clement Catholic Church.
She enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. Dorothy also enjoyed
traveling extensively with her husband and children.
Dorothy is survived by her two children, Lisa (Peter) Schefsky of Sheboygan Falls and Jay (Susan) Kohls of
Sheboygan; three grandchildren Melyssa Kohls of Texas, Nicholas Schefsky of Sheboygan and Stephanie
Schefsky of Sheboygan Falls; sister-in-law, Eileen Mockert of Sheboygan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl and her brother, Dr. Thomas Mockert.
Private family services have been held in Dorothy’s memory.
