MADRID (Reuters) – Spain’s government has reached an agreement with unions and the country’s main employers’ association to extend national furlough schemes, known as ERTEs, by three months until September 30, sources told Reuters on Thursday.
Originally due to expire on June 30, the current system of public aid had been linked to Spain’s state of emergency over the coronavirus, which ended on June 22.
