Gerald “Jerry” W. Case, age 80, of Sheboygan passed away after a lengthy illness on Friday,
August 26, 2022, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
He was born in Sheboygan on May 27, 1942, to the late Harlan and Rose (Gergish) Case. He
attended local schools and graduated from South High School. Jerry proudly served his country
in the United States Marine Corps from 1961 until 1964. He was employed at Kohler Company
for 37 years, retiring as a Supervisor Material Handling in September of 2001. On September 5,
2001, Jerry was united in marriage to Elaine Warfield in Rhinelander, WI. They have enjoyed
over 45 wonderful years together.
Jerry enjoyed spending time up north at their cabin on Pelican Lake with family and friends.
Elaine and Jerry have had many English Springer Spaniels over the years and many of them
became great fishing buddies to Jerry. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Along with his loving wife, Elaine, Jerry is survived by his children, Shelley (Tom) Buckley, Lisa
Mitchell, Jason (Vicky) Case and Jessica Case; grandchildren, Abbey, Griffin, Kasha, Mariah,
Addison, Ashlynn, Jacob, and Owen; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosemarie Hosbein and
Delores (Robert) Delorme; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Harlan Case.
Per Jerry’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
Memorial donations can be made in Jerry's name to the Sheboygan County Humane Society.
The family would like to thank the staff and doctors at both Aurora Sheboygan Memorial
Medical Center and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the care and support given to
Jerry.
