The Court Appointed Special Advocate (Casa) will be doing a tour of their Manitowoc offices on Tuesday, August 9, to showcase “The Pathway of Hope,” the process of a child’s journey through the child welfare system. Since 2004 the Casa of East Central Wisconsin has been working with specially selected and trained volunteers as advocates for abused and neglected children, who are currently under the jurisdiction of the juvenile justice system in Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties. Casa seeks to give every child who has suffered abuse or neglect to have a safe and thriving home.
The event will run from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at their 814 Studio 1 Washington Street office. Additional food and beverages will be made available from Manitowoc’s Holla on Wheels and Racine’s Inmoxicated. For more information visit www.casaecw.org
