MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – Kyle Freeland and the Colorado Rockies shut down the Milwaukee Brewers offense in a 2-0 win on Monday night at American Family Field.
Freeland went seven scoreless innings, giving up just four hits and striking out seven. The Brewers did not put a runner in scoring position until the 9th inning when they loaded the bases but they were unable to score against Rockies closer Daniel Bard.
Milwaukee wasted a good outing from Aaron Ashby who tossed seven innings, giving up two runs on five hits with nine strikeouts.
