Two Sheboygan County Businesses have been awarded shares of a $110,000 International Market Access Grant, made available through the Wisconsin Initiative for Agricultural Exports, which was proposed by Governor Tony Evers in his most recent biennial budget.
Zimbal Minkery of Sheboygan Falls was granted $10,000 to create a new website and translate marketing materials for use in Europe and Asia.
Ever-Green-View Farms of Waldo will be using their $10,000 to hire consultants that will help reach markets in Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and the Middle East.
The two Sheboygan County recipients are among eleven established agribusinesses that are new to exporting or expanding into new markets, operating in Wisconsin, and manufacturing, processing, assembling, or distributing a product that has the potential to be exported.
