Jason A. Moritz, 50, of Sheboygan, passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack on Friday, June
24, 2022. He was born January 11, 1972, to Frederick and Marlene (Thill) Moritz. Jason
graduated from North High School with the Class of 1990.
Jason’s pride and joy was his son Evan. His passion was teaching Evan how to grow into the
honest, caring, goodman he has become. Jason enjoyed spending time working on cars and
teaching Evan to drive. Being outdoors golfing, kayaking, and playing with his faithful
companion Rhaenys, were favorite past times of his. He also loved the father/son
competitiveness of playing video games with Evan. Jason’s love for his son and family was so
much stronger than his heart. He is so loved by all who knew him, and he is going to be so
deeply missed by them all.
Jason is survived by his mother Marlene Moritz, son Evan Jay Moritz, stepson Kieran Kinney-
Moritz, brother Frederick Moritz, sister Dawn Moritz-Mattson, nephew Connor Henning, special
