
John H. Moehring,68, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, June 23,
2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 13, 1954, in Sheboygan to the late
Elmer and Myra (Weeden) Moehring. John graduated from Howards Grove High School with
the class of 1972.
On May 3, 1975, he was united in marriage to Linda Wagner at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic
Church in Sheboygan.
John worked in the Brass Building at the Kohler company for 46 years.
Family was the most important thing in John’s life. He was always there for his kids, it didn’t
matter the day, time, or situation they could count on him to be there. His granddaughter was
the light of his life, he was so proud of all she had accomplished. John enjoyed stock car racing
with his boys at the local dirt tracks, and was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Packers,
Brewers and Bucks. Spending time grilling out and enjoying an old fashion was a favorite past
time of his. John had a heart of gold and was always there whenever someone asked for
assistance, he was there to help. He also loved animals especially his fur buddy Nala.
John is survived by his wife of 47 years Linda, sons; Dennis (Michelle) Moehring and Travis
Moehring, granddaughter Skyler Moehring, brothers; Bobby Moehring, Andy (Kathy) Moehring,
Pete (Trudy) Moehring, Kenny (Jolynn) Moehring, and David (Burcin) Moehring, and sister Kathy
(Bob) Paske, he is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He
was preceded in death by his parents, and son Curtis.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 6:00 PM at Zimmer Westview
Funeral & Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd. Sheboygan. Entombment will take place
on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Kohler. Relatives
and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, from 3:00PM until the time of
service at the FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in John’s name.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic and
Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for all their care, compassion and support.
