The City of Plymouth has hired a new City Administrator / Utilities Manager. The announcement was made on Tuesday that Timothy Blakeslee will start his position with the City on August 1st.
Blakeslee currently serves as the Assistant Village Manager for the Village of Whitefish Bay. He brings with him a wide range of experience in budget development and contract negotiations conducted in Whitefish Bay over the past five years, and has worked directly with non-profits, citizen groups, businesses, Village departments, committees and Village residents.
Blakeslee replaces Jordan Skiff who was released from his position last October, a move over which Skiff has filed suit claiming he was fired after 9 months for what he called a “vague lack of confidence”, and in violation of his contract.
