BOSTON, MA (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Bucks are one win away from another trip to the Eastern Conference Finals after taking down the Celtics in Game Five.
Milwaukee fought back from a 14-point deficit in the 4th quarter to top Boston 110-107 at TD Garden and now lead the series three games to two.
Bobby Portis had a big put-back on a missed free throw with 15-seconds left in the game, while Jrue Holiday came up with two big steals on Boston’s final two possessions to help in the comeback.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led all scorers with 40 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the win. Holiday chipped in with 24 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists. Portis had 14 points and 15 rebounds off the bench.
Jayson Tatum led the Celtics in scoring with 34 points. Jaylen Brown had 26 but the Bucks defense held Marcus Smart to just 15 points with four rebounds and only one assist.
The series will shift back to Milwaukee for Game Six on Friday night.
