
Shirley A. Haartman, age 87, of Sheboygan, went home to be with her Savior and Lord
on Tuesday, May 3 rd , 2022. She is now resting in the arms of Jesus.
Shirley was born January 6, 1935, in Sheboygan. The daughter of the late Herman and
Elma (Lund) Ladiges. She attended schools in Sheboygan and Wausau, WI.
She met her husband Wayne while working at the Vollrath Company in Sheboygan.
They were married February 15, 1963, in Waukegan, Illinois. She worked various
places both in Wausau and Sheboygan.
Shirley was a member of Calvin Christian Reformed Church. She taught Sunday school
classes and served on different committees.
She enjoyed traveling, and camping with her husband Wayne, and Grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Sander (Wilma) Grohman; and three
Grandchildren, Toni (Joshua) Lampe, Matthew (Lori) Grohman, and Jessica Jacoby all
of Sheboygan. She is further survived by fourteen Great-Grandchildren, Hanna, Dakota,
Samuel, Matthew, Joseph, Joslynn, and Gwendolyn Lampe, Dayne Grohman, and
Isaiah and Peyton Larsen, Trinity, Elijah, Saryah, and Grace Jacoby, and Ryder Radant;
and five Great-Great Grandchildren, Lilly, Tucker, Buck, Ileigh Lampe and Sadie
Larson. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Barbara (Michael) Graefe; brother-in-
law, Ronald (Beverly) Haartman; her best friend, Judy DuMez; and many dear friends
and cousins also.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne, on November 13, 2013; her
parents; and sisters-in-law Dorothy Klessig and Pearl Haartman.
A funeral service will be held for Shirley at 12:00 PM on Monday, May 16, 2022, at
Zimmer-Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (W2132 Garton Road,
Sheboygan, WI 53083) with Pastor Andy Hopp officiating. A public visitation will be held
from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the funeral home prior to Shirley’s service. Shirley’s
service will be live-streamed and viewable at a later date from her obituary page at

Interment to take place at Wildwood Cemetery in Sheboygan, WI.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Shirley’s name.
Shirley’s family would like to thank Ali and the rest of the nursing staff at Sharon S.
Richardson Community Hospice for phenomenal care for Shirley and support for her
family.
