MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers banged out 17 hits in an 18-4 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday night at American Family Field.
Rowdy Tellez went 4 for 6 with two home runs – including a grand slam – and a franchise-record 8 RBIs. Andrew McCutchen was 4 for 5 with 4 RBI’s. Kolten Wong also homered while Christian Yelich and Victor Caratini had two RBIs each. Every Brewer starter scored at least one run in the victory.
Freddy Peralta went five innings, giving up three runs with seven strikeouts.
Milwaukee moves to 17-8 on the season and will go for the series sweep Thursday afternoon. Pre game coverage starts at 12:05 on WHBL.
