MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – Brandon Woodruff struck out 12, tying a career high, in five-and-two-thirds innings as the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Cincinnati Reds 6-3 at American Family Field on Tuesday night.
Woodruff gave up three runs on four hits. Aaron Ashby and Devin Williams pitched 2 2/3 scoreless frames with Williams earning his second save.
Willy Adames had a three-run homer and Rowdy Tellez also homered for the Brewers.
With the loss, the Reds drop to just 3-20 on the season.
