Another road construction project can be added to the list of those requiring motorists to re-route their trips through Sheboygan, although this one is on what might be considered a “scenic drive” within the city.
Kiwanis Park Road will have the existing pavement removed and replaced with new asphalt beginning on Tuesday, May the 3rd. The road will be closed to through traffic at various times, and a detour will be posted using North 14th Street, Erie Avenue, and North 17th Street.
Schedules are always weather-dependent, but City engineers expect the project to be completed in late May.
