
Frances “Jeanne” Beeck of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin lost her courageous battle
with ovarian cancer and went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, April 14 th , 2022.
Jeanne was born on December 1st, 1948, to the late Darwin and Gladys (Zorn)
Immel in the town of Empire, Wisconsin.
Jeanne graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1966. She also married
the love of her life that year, Ronald Beeck. They entered into the union of marriage on
November 5th, 1966.
Jeanne played many roles during her life’s journey. She was a: daughter, sister,
cousin, wife, mother, and most importantly Grandma. She was affectionately known as
Nana, not only to her grandchildren but to the other countless children in her life.
Jeanne also had many careers throughout the course of her life. She was a
cakemaker, small business owner, quality manager, and was the chief cook and bottle
washer for the ‘Kernel and the Old Maid’ family kettle corn business. Of all her jobs and
careers, she was the proudest of being a daycare provider for many.
Her many hobbies included: gardening, camping, decorating, dancing the polka,
and spending time with all of the children who called her Nana.
Jeanne is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ronald; and her two daughters,
Kelly (Scott) Waier of Sheboygan and Sara (Travis) Smallwood of Sheboygan Falls.
Her grandchildren include Travis Jr (Annie) Smallwood, Jacob (Becky) Immel,
Ashley Smallwood, Brandon Waier, Molly Waier, Claire Smallwood, Abby Smallwood,
Sophie Smallwood, and great-grandchild, Luke Smallwood.
Her siblings include Dave (Luanne) Immel, Ellen (Lee) Guenther, Dennis (Linda)
Immel, Dan (Yvonne) Immel, Cindy Immel, Glorian (George) Erhman, Shirley (Aaron)
Mertes, Fred (Juanie)Beeck, Judy (Jim) Krolnik, Rosie (Dave) Baranczyk, Don (Andrea)
Beeck, and Mary (Jerry) Miller.
She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is survived by
many in the community, including those she babysat, worked with, and customers served
from the kettle corn business.
Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents Gladys and Darwin Immel as well as
her parents-in-law Willard and Clara Beeck as well as siblings: Harold Beeck, Alvera
Beeck and Bernice Beeck.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Jeanne at 1:00 PM on Sunday, April 24,
2022, at Zimmer-Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (W2132 Garton Road,
Sheboygan, WI 53083) with Jim Parker officiating. A public visitation will be held from
11:00 AM until the time of Jeanne's service at the funeral home. Private burial will take
place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls.
The family wants to thank the caring and compassionate staff at Sharon S.
Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. They would also like to thank the
host of other doctors and nurses who served her during her cancer journey, including
those that cared for her at Banner University Cancer Center in Tuscon, Arizona.
The family also wants to thank the community for the well wishes, thoughts and
prayers. We rest in the comfort that Jeanne is being embraced in Heaven by her Lord and
