SOUTHBOUND 8TH STREET NEAR DOWNTOWN WILL NEED DETOUR NEXT WEEK

The abandonment and relocation of a fire hydrant south of Penn Avenue will require a detour of southbound traffic on South 8th Street next week.

The Sheboygan Water Utility said it will need to rout traffic around the project during the hours of 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, April 18th through the 20th.  Northbound traffic won’t be affected, and access to local businesses will be maintained.

Southbound traffic on 8th Street will be routed on Penn Avenue to South 9th Street to its merger with South 8th.
