The number of active COVID-19 cases known to the Sheboygan County Division of Public Health has now been increasing for seven consecutive days, starting at a low of 59 cases on April 7th, and now up to 80 cases a week later.
Five new confirmed cases have raised the pandemic total here to 29,424, while three more recovered. The 7-day average of daily new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Sheboygan County had risen to a revised figure of 8 on April 10 and 11, but has now declined to 6.
The number of individuals ever hospitalized for COVID in the county rose one to 1,210, and one remains hospitalized today.
Another six persons receiving their first dose of vaccine pushed that total to 72,545, or 63.0% of the county population. 60.4%, or 69,636, have now received two doses as another 28 got theirs since Wednesday. 33.0%, or 38,054, have received boosters, a gain of 39 in the last day.
