The Vollrath Company and the union that represents workers there have come to an agreement that will end the 5-day strike that took place this week.
A release Vollrath sent to WHBL on Friday morning states: “Vollrath Company is pleased to announce it has reached an agreement with the Sheboygan United Auto Workers Local 1472 on a new five-year labor contract. Employees will resume work Sunday, April 10.”
The company and union had failed to reach agreement over a labor contract that expired on Friday, April 1, prompting the strike by Local 1472 workers that began on Monday.
