SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) – Three people were hurt in a rollover crash on I-43 near Sheboygan Sunday afternoon. The Sheriff’s Department says it was around 3pm when an SUV heading south suddenly crossed over the median, rolled, and landed on the east shoulder of I-43 northbound.
All 3 people had to be pulled from the vehicle – the driver, a 24 year old man from Manitowoc, was airlifted to Froedert in Milwaukee, while his two passengers were taken to Aurora Sheboygan with serious but non life-threatening injuries. The highway was closed down for 3 hours, and the cause of the crash is still being investigated.
